Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information TruckLawHub collects when you visit trucklawhub.com, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Who we are

TruckLawHub (“we”, “us”) is an independent educational website about truck accident law in the United States. We are not a law firm. You can reach us at contact@trucklawhub.com or through our contact page.

Information we collect

You can read every page on this site without creating an account or giving us your name.

  • Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you requested, the referring page and the date and time. These logs are used to keep the site secure and working, and are kept only for a limited period.
  • Calculators. Our free calculators run entirely in your browser. The figures you enter (for example medical bills, income or crash dates) are not sent to or stored on our servers.
  • Search. Words you type into the site search are used to show results and may appear in server logs.
  • Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to reply and to handle your request.

Please do not send us confidential details about a legal matter. We cannot give legal advice and contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use:

  • Essential cookies: a session cookie that keeps the site working securely. It is deleted when you close your browser.
  • Advertising cookies: set by our advertising partners, described below.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, although ads may be less relevant to you.

Advertising and Google AdSense

We may show ads served by Google AdSense and other third-party advertising partners to support this free resource.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
  • Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Where required by law (for example for visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland), we will ask for your consent before personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used.

Ads are provided by third parties. An ad on this site is not an endorsement or referral by TruckLawHub of any lawyer, law firm, product or service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with law firms or lead-generation companies.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California (CCPA/CPRA) and other U.S. states with privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to delete or correct it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. To make a request, email contact@trucklawhub.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. You can also use the opt-out links in the advertising section above.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
